What is Company 2000? It is a competitive performing dance group comprised of students from Dance 2000 ranging from 9th grade and up. How can you become part of it? Dancers may audition for ballet, modern, tap, jazz and hip hop. Auditions will be held on TBD and will begin promptly at 12:30 so please arrive early to stretch. A short combination will be taught for each dance and the dancers will perform them in small groups. We are looking for strong technical dancers with high performance qualities. Click here to download the Company 2000 Audition Form Where are rehearsals? Rehearsals run every Saturday from October 17th thru February beginning at 12:00. There are NO excused absences. There are no rehearsals on TBD. All rehearsals will be held at the Dance 2000 Studio. On Monday each week it will be posted which dances are being rehearsed that Saturday. Not all company members will have to rehears every Saturday. If you are not available on Saturdays, please DO NOT audition. |

What are the expenses? If a student makes Company 2000, there cost is TBD (TBD company fee due at the first rehearsal, the remainder due by TBD. Fees cover all rehearsals, conventions, competitions, transportation, and Company pants & jacket. Fundraisers can be done to lower the costs. Schedule TBD COMMITMENT There is a lot of time and effort that goes into creating a dance company, fundraising and rehearsal to start we need 100% commitment.
